Paradeep Phosphates Limited (PPL) donated instruments under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Initiative to the Department of Microbiology, St. Joseph Vaz College, Cortalim, on 30th September 2025 at the Seminar Hall. The event marked the generous contribution of PPL under its CSR initiative, through which the Department of Microbiology received a Refrigerated Centrifuge and a Laminar Air Flow Cabinet.

The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Suresh Pramanik, Chief Manufacturing Officer & Unit Head, PPL Goa Unit, accompanied by Mr. Anand Rajadhyaksha, General Manager – HR & IR, and Mr. D.V. Tendulkar, Deputy General Manager – CSR. They were welcomed by Rev. Prof. Simao Diniz, Administrator of the College, along with the Officiating Principal, Ms. Viona Correia, and faculty members of the Department of Microbiology.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest emphasized the importance of industry-academia collaboration in building stronger learning opportunities for students. PPL was thanked for its continued commitment to education and community development.
