The department of physical education and sports of St Joseph Vaz College, Cortalim organized a lecture on Understanding Race Cycling for the students of the college. The purpose of this lecture was to promote students to take up cycling as a sport and also to encourage the students to start cycling as part of healthy lifestyle. The resource person for the lecture was Mr. Deepak Ashanagar. During the lecture Mr. Deepak spoke about various training techniques associated with cycling. He also introduced various training equipment and different types of cycles to the students. He highlighted the importance of load and progression while training while also touching upon various technical term associated with cycling. 75 students and 5 staff members attended the lecture.
