The Department of Microbiology in collaboration with MBSI of St. Joseph Vaz College organised a ‘Bookmark making competition’ on 14/08/2025 Thursday, on the theme ‘The power of the invisible microbes’. The competition was open to all the B.Sc. students of St. Joseph Vaz College. The theme of the competition was “The Power of the Invisible Microbes”, aiming to raise awareness about
the significant yet often overlooked role of microbes in our lives. The competition saw an enthusiastic response, with a total of 45 hand-painted bookmarks submitted by students across all three years. Participants expressed their understanding of microbiology through creative and meaningful artwork, highlighting the power of invisible microbes.
