The national webinar titled “Essentials of E-Resources for Research,” held on 7th March 2024 at 10 a.m., was organized by the Research and Development Cell, Library, and IQAC Departments of St. Joseph Vaz College in collaboration with Balani Infotech Pvt. Ltd, Noida. Aimed at enhancing understanding of electronic resources for research purposes, the event began with Mrs. Manali Acharya, the college librarian, welcoming participants and introducing the distinguished resource persons. Asst. Prof Angela Serrao, the IQAC Coordinator, provided an institute overview. Dr. Tariq Ashraf, Mr. Sateesh Hegde, and Dr. Nikita Wanjari delivered insightful sessions on the event’s significance, LANQUILL software i.e a English Language Lab, and DRILLBIT a plagiarism detection tool software, respectively. 

With over 100 attendees from diverse educational backgrounds, the webinar’s success was evident through active engagement. Dr. Melwin D’Souza, the Resource and Development Cell coordinator, extended thanks to all contributors, marking the conclusion of the enriching event, which promoted effective e-resource utilization in academia and research, fostered by the collaboration between St. Joseph Vaz College and Balani Infotech Pvt. Ltd.
