St Joseph Vaz College, Cortalim put up a brilliant show to win the college category Golden Jubilee – All Goa Cycle Race organised by Guirdolim Club in association with Sudesh Bhise. The enthusiastic cyclists from the college were training for the past several months to prepare for the race. The team members were Sharif Ansari, Umesh Padasalimani, Amit Naik, Dishant Kankonkar, Shubham Gauns, Rutik Parab, Suaraj Yadav, Umesh Gani, Veron Rocha and Vignesh Naik. The team was trained by Deepak Ashanagar and Dr Elroy Pinto, College Director of Physical Education and Sports. Infancio Correia and Francy Vaz were instrumental in forming the team.
