The inter-religious meeting was organized by Committee for the apostolate of inter-religious dialogue on 25th November 2021, at the Basilica de Bom Jesus. The college was represented at the meet by students Ms. Prajwal Sawant, Ms. Ankita Sawant, Ms. Flossy Lucas, Mr. Aman Borkar and Mr. Shivam Saroj accompanied by Dr. Richa S. Sardessai, Assistant Professor, Chemistry.

The event commenced with a welcome address by Fr. Dennis Fernandes, Episcopal Vicar for North Goa, followed by welcome dance by Novices of Our Lady of Angels Convent, Old Goa convent and Sisters of Portiuncula Convent. Mr. Irshad, Shaikh Mussa, spoke on the behalf of the Muslim Community. A skit was acted out by Parish youth of Sao Matias followed by a speech by Dr. Sandeep Naik, on behalf of the Hindu Community. Students of the St. Xavier’s College Mapusa performed a mime act that was followed by a speech by Dr. Oscar Braganza D’Mello, on behalf of the Catholic Community. The event ended with a pledge of tolerance and felicitation of all three speakers.
