The Entrepreneurship cell of St. Joseph Vaz College in collaboration with the Department of Botany, Department of Microbiology & Department of Chemistry organised a Entrepreneurs sale and Medicinal plant Exhibition on 27th March 2024 from 10 am to 4.00 pm in the college seminar hall. The young entrepreneurs from first year BSc and staff of the college displayed various items for sale.

Among the items for sale were homemade wines such as Strawberry wine, Date wine, Apple wine, Starfruit wine, Ginger and mint wine and fermented tea drink viz., Kombucha. In addition there were cacti and medicinal plants for sale. There were also a variety of handmade candles, hand painted bookmarks, herbal soaps and cocopeat blocks for sale prepared by the staff of the college.

The Medicinal plant Exhibition showcased different plant species and hydrophytes with their economic importance and hydroponics single pole culture with mint plants.

The event was well appreciated by the parents of the college students, school students, staff of school and villagers.
