Vacancies

A) Essential:
1. Master in Psychology/ Human Development from a recognised University/ Institution with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.
2. Knowledge of Konkani is essential.

B) Desirable:
1. Specialized in Clinical/ Counselling Psychology.
2. Minimum experience of one year working as a Counselor
3. Knowledge of Marathi.

C) Age Limit: Age shall not exceed 60 years during appointment period.

D) Pay: Rs. 40,000/- consolidated remuneration.

1. Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s degree in the relevant subject.

2. Candidates for all the above posts must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professors conducted by UGC/CSIR, or similar test accredited by UGC like SLET/SET. However, candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in the relevant subject in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph. D. Degree Regulations, 2009), shall be exempted from NET/SET.

3. All other requirements as prescribed by UGC, Goa University and Directorate of Higher Education (DHE).

4. Essential: Knowledge of Konkani and Valid 15 years of Residence Certificate in Goa.

5. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Vacancies will be filled up, subject to NOC from Directorate of Higher Education, availability of workload and approval by Goa University, DHE and other stipulations.
