JCI Vasco and Porvorim in collaboration with the teaching-learning and education technology cell and IQAC of St Joseph Vaz College organized a session on ICT Tools for the staff. A total of 12 faculty members benefited from the session. JC HGF Saravanan R, National Trainer of JCI India, served as the resource person. 

The session began with a short prayer by Dr. Melwin D’souza, Assistant Professor in Chemistry, followed by the welcome address by the IQAC Coordinator, Ms. Angela Serrao. The resource person then started with his presentation. The interactive session included different types of ICT Tools for teaching like Learning Management Systems (LMSs), Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs), Collaborative Tools, Presentation Tools and Assessment Tools. The resource person emphasized that choosing the right ICT tools is crucial and that one should use different types of tools so that content delivery is not monotone. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Komal Gawade, Assistant Professor in Chemistry, and Ms. Anju Dessai, JCI Porvorim Vice-President. Compering for the session was done by Ms. Viona Correia.
