Poster Competiton under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan

The Counselling Cell, in collaboration with the Red Ribbon Club, organized a Poster Making Competition on 22nd August 2025 on the theme “Youth Against Drugs.” The initiative aimed to spread awareness about the ill effects of substance abuse while providing students an opportunity to showcase their creativity and artistic talent.

A total of seven pairs of students enthusiastically participated, blending creativity, colouring, and sketching skills to produce thought-provoking posters. Each poster carried a powerful message, underlining how visual art can serve as a strong tool for spreading awareness. The first place was secured by Ms. Vidhita Chari and Ms. Seimoon Khazi, whose poster strongly captured the essence of the theme. The first runner-up position was awarded to Ms. Tanvi Parab and Ms. Tanisha Mangueshkar. For the second runner-up position, there was a tie between two pairs: Ms. Shubhra C. Malvankar and Ms. Andini Borkar, and Ms. Prajakta Prabhugaunker and Mr. Kshithij Naik.

The competition was well-received and highlighted the importance of youth engagement in the fight against drug abuse. The event successfully demonstrated how creative expression can inspire positive choices and motivate peers to lead healthier lives.
