The Department of Microbiology organized a quiz competition titled “Pathway Precision” for the SY B.Sc. Microbiology students on 27th March 2026 at 2:00 pm in the F3 classroom. The objective of the quiz was to enhance the students’ conceptual understanding of metabolic and biochemical pathways in an engaging and competitive manner. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students. Participants competed in teams and answered questions based on various biochemical pathways, enzymes, and related concepts from metabolism. The quiz consisted of multiple rounds designed to test the students’ knowledge, analytical ability, and quick thinking, creating a lively and interactive learning environment. 

At the end of the competition, the winners were announced. The third place was secured by Ms. Tanuja Doddamani, Ms. Akanksha Saroj, and Ms. Vishakha Bandivadekar. The second place was shared by two teams as they secured equal scores: Mr. Abhishek Chawdary, Ms. Astrid Fernandes, and Ms. Siddhi Shedge, and Ms. Sunakshi Govekar and Ms. Drozilla Pereira. The first place was won by the team of Ms. Menika Gurav, Mr. Raghav Shirodkar, and Ms. Vaishnavi Bale. The event concluded with appreciation for all the participants for their enthusiasm and active involvement. The quiz proved to be an effective and enjoyable way of reinforcing important biochemical concepts among the students.
