Sci - π 3.0
General Rules
1. Sci – π is restricted only to the Science Students.
2. Participating students will have to carry their ID Cards on the day of the event.
3. Each team should consist of exactly 17 students.
4. The last date to register is 30th November 2024 by emailing the registration form at scipi@stjosephvazcollege.in
5. Early bird points (10 pts) will be given to the team that registers first on the day of the event. Points will be deducted (-10 pts) of the team that reports after 8:45 am.
6. No student should register for simultaneous events. Events will not be stopped/ delayed for a participant held up in another event.

Events
Number of Participants: 02
Rules and Regulations:
1. The theme for Collage making is “The Future of AI through Mathematical Lenses”.
2. The Collage must be prepared on an A2 size chart paper.
3. Participants may use printed images, newspapers, magazines, or sketches, Mathematical diagrams, equations, charts, or models relevant to the theme. Creative tools like paints, markers are allowed.
4. A brief explanation (100-150 words) of the collage’s concept must be submitted alongside the artwork.
5. All materials must be brought by the participants, no materials will be provided by the organizers.
6. Pre-prepared collages will be disqualified; all work must be done during the competition.
7. Mobile phones, tablets, or other devices may be used for reference.
8. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
9. The competition will be judged on theme relevance, creativity, Originality, Aesthetic Appeal and clarity of explanation.

Rules and Regulations:
1. The theme for Leaf Painting Competition is “When nature meets AI”
2. Each team will be provided with one leaf.
3. Participants must bring all the material required for leaf painting e.g., colors, paint brushes, etc.
4. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
5. The competition will be judged on effective conveying of theme, creativity, and visual impact.

Rules and Regulations:
1. Participants should prepare by learning about various AI concepts, applications, advancements, and key figures in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
2. The duration of the quiz will be for 30 minutues.
3. Participants will be provided with pen and paper for note-taking during the quiz.
4. No phones, internet, gadgets, earphones, or any other electronic devices will be allowed while answering the quiz.
5. The decision of the quiz master will be final and binding.

Rules and Regulations:
Participants have to complete the following tasks as a team
1. 50 push ups
2. 100 squats
3. 50 burpees
4. 100 situps
5. Skipping 100
6. Plank walk (20 metres each participant)
7. Crab walk (20 metres each participant)
8. Frog jumps (20 metres each participant)
9. Duck walk (20 metres each participant)
10. Stack Attack (Making a plastic cup tower)
The team that successfully completes all the tasks in the least time will be the winner.

Rules and Regulations:
1. The theme for the enact play is “Revisiting Biology’s Legends and Their Discoveries”.
2. Each team should select one scientist or a specific discovery/invention to depict.
3. Each team will be allotted 5 minutes on stage for their enactment.
4. A 2-minute warning will be given before the end of the time limit, and any team exceeding 7 minutes may lose points.
5. Enactments should be stage-based and may include dialogue, costumes, and props.
6. Multimedia aids (e.g., short slides or background images) are allowed, but video clips are not permitted during the enactment.
7. No live animals or hazardous materials should be used as props.
8. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
9. The competition will be judged on scientific accuracy, Creativity, Engagement, Teamwork, Coordination and Time management.

Rules and Regulations:
1. Participants must design and present outfits inspired by one or more elements from the periodic table.
2. Each team will be allotted 7 minutes on stage for the fashion show. 5 minutes (Ramp Walk) 2 minutes (Introduction + Question)
3. Materials used must be non-toxic and safe for both the participants and the audience. No hazardous chemicals or substances should be incorporated into the design.
4. Excessive time will result in deduction of points in the overall judging process.
5. Soundtracks should be submitted at the time of registration.
6. The outfits will be judged based on creativity, adherence to the theme, overall design, execution and narration.
